2023 has been designated as YEAR OF THE COAST
There is much to see along our stretch of the National Coastal Path. In one direction you can walk past Deal Castle and Walmer Castle to the little village of Kingsdown, where the famous White Cliffs will take you on towards Dover and beyond.
In the other direction you can pass Deal Pier and the famous golf courses into Sandwich which used to be on the coast itself but is no longer. Pegwell Bay is where the hovercraft used to operate from and round the corner is Ramsgate, with its Royal Harbour and onto Broadstairs and Margate.
